Commack
Commack is a hamlet spanning the Town of Huntington and the Town of Smithtown on Long Island, its name rooted in the Secatogue word “Winnecomac,” meaning pleasant lands. It’s home to the Commack Methodist Church, built in 1789 and the oldest Methodist building in New York State, and the Harned Brothers Sawmill, the only circular sawmill still operating on Long Island. I’m Gordon Lewis, a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson with RE/MAX Integrity Leaders, and Commack is one of the North Shore communities I work in regularly.
With 14+ years of experience, 302 career home sales, and a 4.9-star rating across 106 Zillow reviews, I bring local market knowledge and a hands-on approach to every Commack transaction, whether you’re buying your first home or selling the one you’ve been in for years.
Here’s what one client had to say about working with me: “Gordon was very helpful in the home buying process! He would always keep me updated on new homes for sale or new price changes, helping me out as a first time home buyer. He broke down the process very clearly to me so I had a full understanding before we started the process. If I had any questions Gordon would not hesitate to answer. He also helped me find great lawyers and a great lender! I would highly recommend Gordon to anyone looking for an agent.”
